   It's not officially open to climbing, no. Pretty sure the ranger is not keen on climbers going there. But, up to you. Keep a low profile.

   Hi Lee, You don't know me yet but I have been climbing with Pinnacle for the last 12 months or so. I really need to speak to you or email you regarding a Masters project I am doing this year. I intend to create mil spec mapping complete with digital imagery of all major climbing regions in SE Qld. It is my hope that this will greatly assist with building a dialogue with govt agencies such as EPA, DIP, and QPWS. I have already started speaking with various people in these agencies and they are quite pleased with the idea. I just need some climbers to come the party as well and things may actually start to happen!    Hi Lee. It was my partner who asked the quesiton. I thought you might find this interesting. The way our heads work is fascinating. You can do IATs at https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/ Try a few. These tests cover Race / Gender / etc reactions but it applies to anything we do. Basically given the nature of our brain/body the main thing that determines rapid reactions to a situation is what you have been exposed to in the past (experience) and NOT reason at the time. You might use 'reason' on a climb ('if I was 2 feet off the ground I'd be fine so I'm fine etc) but that only works because of past experience (useless for a beginner). Falling? What past experience do you have? None? SHIIIIT! Or graduated experience - don't even have to think because it's familiar.

   Theres a book called Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. A great read. Not technical. Lot's of great illustrative stories. Recommended by a bloke who lectures me in neurology. I thought you might find this interesting.
